Coronavirus update - 25 March 2020

In response to Government advice this week, we would like to inform you that, sadly, we have closed our shops in Bristol and Weston-super-Mare, until further notice.
Some of our office staff who are normally based in our head office will be working from home and will be available to answer your call, but we do have limited capacity 01934 415000 – so please we patient!
Please remember that you can still book your future holidays with us online by visiting www.bakersdolphin.com and I’m sure it will be good for customers to have something nice to look forward to in the not too distant future.
If you have booked a Bakers Dolphin holiday or day trip for a scheduled departure in April 2020 this is now postponed. You will receive confirmation of this and your options in due course. Please bear with us during this hectic time.
Please do not phone us at this time about any of your future holidays as we will be following advice from Government and Bonding guidelines, we are processing these holidays and looking at the options for you. Do not worry as your money is safe and protected. All monies are held by the Bonded Coach Holiday Group of the Confederation of Passenger Transport UK Ltd, which is a Government approved customer protection scheme www.bch-uk.org.
Decisions on bookings for May 2020 have not yet been finalised but you can be sure that we will be following the Government’s advice and will advise you of the situation in due course. We will keep you updated by writing to you or if we have your e-mail we will communicate via this method.
Currently we continue to operate some coaches providing transport for the children of key workers. We are also pleased to have linked up with Bristol Ambulance (EMS) and 20 of our drivers are retraining to drive ambulances to help our NHS during this crisis.
Our hearts go out to our loyal customers in these difficult times. Please stay safe and well and follow the rules of social distancing and hygiene.
Thank you also to those customers who have been looking ahead and booking holidays/Days Trips with us, it means a lot.
Just to add a final personal note to all our fantastic customers and incredibly loyal staff, do not panic as we are all in this together, we will be back soon and there will be plenty of opportunities for all later in the year.
